Today, I am the Birthday Girl!
The big day has arrived. Huzzah!! Herewith, a picture of today's gift, a friendship ball, suitable for dangling in a window:

For your chance to win this lovely birthday present from me, leave a comment about friendship. Or maybe how much you LOVE cake and ice cream. Either will do. As ever, if you don't leave me a way to contact you, commit to checking back here tomorrow May 1, 2009 or thereabouts to see if you won one or more of the Birthday Bash presents.
I have tomorrow off of work and will be working on copy edits for Indiscreet.

More Birthday Bash!
Today I received copy edits for my October historical Indiscreet so I'll have to keep this post short.
More birthday bash celebrating going on. Tomorrow is the big day! And speaking of tomorrow, here's a picture of today's prize:

These are 4 lovely handmade (not by me!) glass coasters. To have a chance to win these, leave a comment on this post about .... um .... Heh. Answer this question:
You have a million dollars to spend, but you can't spend it doing good deeds and you can't put it in a savings account or anything virtuous like that. You must spend it selfishly on yourself. How would you go about spending it?
Usual rules, if you don't leave me a way to contact you, you must commit to checking back here around May 1, 2009, to see if you won.
Go.

The Birthday Bash Continues! Even More Prizes Plus Stuff
Today, Amazon.com delivered two copies of Lover Avenged and I was thinking of returning the extra (ohhh, can I do that to a fellow author?) when I said to myself, Hey, Carolyn, you can give that extra copy as a present for your birthday bash!
All righty! As my birthday approaches (soooo close!) here are today's prizes:
Here's a pic of the Believe plaque. Sorry for the bad photo. It's no more than 5 inches high by 3 inches, roughly. It's cute, too, and will look really good hanging in a window or by your computer or any place you would like to be reminded that it's important to believe.

To have a chance to win these prizes, leave a comment on this post about your favorite Brother, or about something you believe in. Like this: Zsadist is my favorite Brother followed closely by Vishous and I believe both those choices explain why I'm Team Jacob.
Only better, if you want.
If you don't leave me a way to contact you, check back around May 1 2009 to see if you've won.
In writing news (just in case anyone's curious) I am working on a proposal for my next historical.

- A cool ceramic plaque that says Believe. Pictured below.
- JR Ward's latest in the BDB saga: Lover Avenged
