OK. Prologue and the pond chapter are gone. Have added two new chapters, but right now they suck. Stands to reason since I only wrote them last night. But basically, my hero is perhaps going to be a bit unlikeable at first. Eric T will be returning from London with the Bank of England's book on their forgery exhibit. Yay!! Am at school, waiting for a meeting to start. I'm going to quick fire up the laptop and get some work done. After the meeting (whoever invented meetings should die a painful death...) I'll will get in 2-3 hours before I pick up my son.

Well. I have deleted the prologue, well ahead of schedule, I might add. School has me snowed under right now, but I am getting a lot of notebooking done.

Arghh. I read The List last night and it needs serious help. It's rushed and parts of it suck. I love my hero but he's not yet what I imagine. I think a lot of romances these days are written as if, from page 1 sentence 1, the hero and heroine will be together, and I truly believe that isn't always the best approach. For The List, I don't want my h/h to be thinking about each other that way at all. Calming breath. I just started the dang thing. I only have 26K words. Of course it's rushed. Of course there's stuff to be fixed, thought of and written. But this will be such a great, sexy story if only I can pull it off, which I must firmly believe I can.

The list is at about 26,000 and going well. Heard from Kate on The Spare last Wed., and I am now working on some revisions. I deleted an entire chapter. Am worried that the ending is boring. Nothing at stake. Must now go buy more paper, do one last reprint of the MS. I have, in fact, finished the edits and have the updated pages ready to go, which I foolishly said Kate would have by Wed/Thurs next week. One more read through to make sure the fixes don't need to be fixed and then off to Kate. So, anyway, looks like The Spare isn't going to be rejected. Relief.
