I wrote the scene where TV confesses his bad deeds and proposes to OW. But now I need to work on chemistry between SA and OW in the real world. I have them in scenes together, but they need to be interacting. 75,500 words.

Last night I had a really good idea for a new scene where TV explains to OW and SA what he (TV) did to OW in the past and what he intends to do to make up for it now. And then, I thought, what if at this point TV reveals the truth about the complicity of SA's family in the accident? Oooh. Good idea I think. I was going to save this revelation for last, but this is much better. Am going to work on this right now.

More work on The Spare. 73K now. Complete re-order of chapters 5-24. Work, work, work. And more work. Some of the chapters I haven't worked on in a while seem pretty stupid to me. But, then, of course they're now out of synch with the more polished stuff, as one would expect. I'd like to see more non-ghost chemistry between SA and OW. Sometimes it's there, but mostly in the ghost stuff. I think they're too much at loggerheads. They need to be friends, too, somewhere along the line. Well, that may be wrong. I need to sit tight a couple of days, do some thinking and working-it-out and then re-read how things mesh with the reorder of the chapters. Still mulling over the Barbarian. Listening to a lot of Gaelic... I need more hours in the day or perhaps just fewer elsewhere, eh?
