Summary: Witch Alexandrine Marit has never had much power, so she's intrigued when she's given a mysterious amulet and hopes it boosts her abilities. For the last decade, Alexandrine has thought her brother Harsh was dead, so she's shocked and angered when he suddenly reappears and demands that she accept the demon Xia as a bodyguard.
That her sexy bodyguard wants to kill her just adds another layer of danger to Alexandrine's out-of-control life. Her amulet is not what it appears, and a dangerous mage intends to take it back. But not if Alexandrine has anything to say about it! (FOREVER, Jun., 384 pp., $6.99) HOT
