Yesterday I worked for 2 hours in the car while my son was at soccer practice. They've changed practice locations and the field is not as convenient to a cafe anymore. Frown. But, I found some shade and endured two hours of sheer torture. Why? Because it's early days for one thing. But this time I deleted 3 crap chapters that don't fit what I'm doing now. That's early crap removal for me, and I am feeling very proud of myself. Then I reached back into the past and pulled out a chapter from a long ago version and resurrected and reformed the chapter. Now I have a bit of a disconnect with what happens in this chapter and the previous ones, but I have some ideas about how to solve that. My job today is to follow what happened in my "new" chapter and go with it.

I'll get in a couple of hours of work before my son is up and I take him school shopping. New backpack, new shoes, some new shirts. Sigh. Can you spell poverty?
