So here it's pretty much the end of June. Magellan's Witch is due August 1. I seem to be spending most of my time massively rewriting. Sigh. Right now I'm going through some comments and addressing those-- if I haven't already deleted or re-written the chapter -- and last night as I was reading this one particular chapter which even when I wrote it I knew was pushing things, I thought to myself, hey, this is good! This is actually fascinating. So for the first time ever I went to bed thinking maybe I don't have a total disaster on my hands.

OK, moment over. Back to freaking. Um, yeah. Definitely that.
