Oh, I forgot to mention, there is a bright spot in this semester of school. The writer whose work I suspected might be brilliant turned in a re-write of her previous submission and it was brilliant. She's a major talent. Her name is Holly Wilcox and one day we'll be reading about the prizes she's won. I get goosebumps thinking about her writing. Wow.

Every author knows talent isn't enough. You have to finish the damn book, too. As long as Holly does that, we're all in for an incredible ride. Tuesday I intend to make sure she'll let me say I knew her when.
