Fun with words

Neuropsis: n. (nur · OP · sys). The neurotic fear of writing a synopsis. Alt: A syndrome the symptoms of which appear when an author is writing the synopsis for an as yet unwritten novel. Accompanied by sobbing when the novel is under option and hopeless sighs when not. Stay away from that writer, she has neuropsis!.

Man, I have it bad.

I have to admit I sort of breezed through my last synopsis. And when I realized the ending would read as if I'm totally gaga, I decided to simply gloss over it.

My agent e-mailed me promptly, "You glossed over the ending."

Ach was. *g*
That's how my synopsis is right now. The ending is so glossy I'm going blind trying to read it. And the thing is, when the book is done, the ending will be completely different anyway.
