Sigh.

Still inefficient. I'm annoyed and irritated and just Sign.

Ok this is a totally selfish pep talk..............I must read The Rake..
You are, I gather, a single mother. YOu actually read to your son, which as a school psychologist I know few parents do, you go to martial arts and soccer games with him, you work, you teach after hours......and you write high quality well plotted fiction. Give your self a break!!

Thank you for the pep talk. I'm still hoping to get the proposal into the mail by the end of the month. As for reading to my son, oh, yes. We're reading the Charlie Bone Series right now. He loves it. The next Harry Potter is on tap as is Eldest, Paolini's follow up to Eragon. There are a few others waiting. Eagerly awaiting HP, when we're ready and looking forward to seeing if Paolini has solved any of his craft issues. I expect he has. Cornelia Funke has a sequel to Inkheart which was a FANTASTIC book. Inkspell, I believe. I love her and my son loved all her books. (Me, not quite as fond of the dragon book, though it was good. But her Thief book sold me (and my sone) on her. She's great! We'll get jers in the TBR, too.

I live in envy of anyone whose son is past he Captain Underpants age........my husband thinks they are funny, I dont but they are ALL Noah is into this month. He's 5...
