82K plus. I think I'm essentially done with A Darker Crimson. Now it's just polishing and adding details etc. I'm feeling a bit panicked if only because I want to get a draft to my agent by the end of the month in order to have enough time to resolve any issues before it goes off to CK. End of this month is 20 days from now. Only one day off and students turning in a major paper on the 23rd for the class I'm TA'ing. But what if it sucks? What if I read this through and it's awful? Arghhhh!

1) it does not suck. 2) what if a giant asteroid hits the planet next week? See, now doesn’t that put the novel in perspective? ;-)
